At Water’s Edge: Photography by Andrew Child

Categories:

Photography by Andrew Child will be on exhibit in the library’s Meeting Room Gallery during the months of July and August 2024.

Panoramic photographer Andrew Child shares images taken near, at, and occasionally beneath the water’s edge. His work invites the viewer to embrace the beauty and inevitability of change.

Andrew Child is an author and photographer based in suburban Boston. He co-publishes the fine art zine, CubaSeen, and is a co-founder of OneWorldSeen, a company that develops and runs photography workshops and creative retreats in Cuba.

Andrew’s first photo book, Havana: Light Beyond Vision (2016), explores the Caribbean metropolis through his unique niche of color, infrared, panoramic photography. In his second book, Cape Cod and the Islands: Light Beyond Vision (2019), Child turns his lens closer to home.
