Acton Memorial Library will be CLOSING AT 5 P.M. on Thursday, September 17, for Adventure at AML. The library will also be CLOSED on Friday, September 18, for Town Staff Professional Development Day, and will reopen at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 19.
Genealogy Collection
The Genealogy Collection is a non-circulating, secure collection of materials that aid family history research. The collection has an emphasis on Massachusetts and also on the Civil War. The Genealogy Collection is accessible whenever the library is open. Researchers are asked to sign in at the Reference Desk before using the collection.
The library also maintains subscriptions to the following e-resources:

- Ancestry Library Edition (library use only)
- Fold3 Library Edition, by Ancestry (remote access for Acton residents)
- MyHeritage Library Edition (remote access for Acton residents)
