Acton Memorial Library Meeting Room Gallery

One Person Shows

Due to an unusually large number of high quality applications in the spring of 2025, the library Arts Committee decided to set the display schedule for the next two years instead of only one year. As a result, the next application period will open in early January 2027.

The Arts Committee of the Acton Memorial Library invites Massachusetts artists to submit work for consideration for upcoming exhibitions in the Meeting Room Gallery. The Committee starts taking applications in early January, with applications due by March 1.

The Committee will review work for one person shows and will set the display schedule for the coming year (September through August).

Various media including painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, photography, textiles and mixed media are eligible. Sculptural work will be considered for exhibit on the second floor of the library. All work should have been completed within the last five years.

All applications must be submitted through Google Forms online.

A Google account is required to complete your submission and can be set up for free if you do not already have one.

Your completed submission should include the following:

• Up to 10 digital images
• Image list with title, media and dimensions
• Artist’s statement
• Resume
