Acton Memorial Library will be CLOSED on Monday, October 14, for Indigenous Peoples' Day. The library will reopen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15.

According to his obituary, Howard J. Billings, born in Acton, who served the Town in several capacities, including Selectmen and Library Trustee, was also a veteran of WWI. (Concord Enterprise, Feb. 25, 1960, p. 6).
