DIED OF PNEUMONIA

    Addison B. Wheeler of East Acton was taken to the Deaconess hospital, Concord, last week, where he died Friday, March 28, of pneumonia.
     Mr. Wheeler was born in Acton, Aug. 30, 1839, the son of William and Eliza Bright Wheeler, on the farm now owned by Jens Mekkelsen. In 1861 he enlisted with two brothers, Warren and Everett, in Co. E. 26th Regt., and served three years. He was a member of Isaac Davis Post No. 138, G.A.R.
     Funeral services were held in the Congregational church, Acton, Sunday, conducted by Rev. J.G. Robertson and members of Isaac Davis post.
     He is survived by a cousin, Lincoln E. Wheeler, now living in North Chelmsford, who enlisted from Acton in the same company with the deceased and served during the war.
