Obituary for Dennis Sheehan

    Dennis Sheehan passed away at his home on Glendale street about half an hour past midnight last Sunday night, February 19. He was born in the Ireland about 74 years ago, and has resided in Maynard for about 28 years. The funeral was held from St. Bridget’s church on Wednesday morning. Rev. J.A. Crowe officiating. The deceased leaves a widow, six sons and one daughter. Michael Sheehan, the undertaker and livery man, is the only one of his children residing in this town. The father was a veteran of the civil war and was a member of Isaac Davis post G.A.R., of West Acton. The post attended the funeral in a body. Mr. Sheehan was a brave soldier and has always been held in high esteem by his brother veterans.
