Winchendon County of  Worcester State of Massachusetts

On Nov. 2, 1861, I first entered the service as private, in Company I, 26th Regiment Massachusetts Infantry.

 

After serving for three years and seven months, I was finally discharged on June 21, 1865 as the war had come to a close.
