(For a list of award-winning audiobooks, see the “Audie Awards”).

(For a Minuteman Catalog search for audiobooks, click here).

Downloadable audio is the format most gaining in popularity and the library offers two options:  “Overdrive” and “Hoopla Digital”.

For any Minuteman card holder with a smartphone or tablet, we recommend downloading the “Libby by Overdrive” app from your app store to get started listening to a huge selection of audiobooks for free.

Acton residents also have access to the “Hoopla Digital” collection, which is also accessible from an app and features “always available” content.

Content from both services is also available for streaming through a web browser.   The Overdrive collection can be found at:   Hoopla can be found at:

All that is needed to get started listening to audiobooks on your computer or mobile device is a library card.  If you don't have one, we invite you to get one!

For more information, and more digital content from the library, visit:

Happy listening!
