Young Adult Services
Young Adult collections include hardcover fiction, nonfiction, and paperback books, as well as several periodicals. Materials in this department are acquired with the reading pleasure of young people in grades 9-12 in mind.
The Young Adult Librarian works closely with the Reference Department to fulfill homework and other reference needs.
The Young Adult Librarian is available on Monday from 9:00 to 5:00 and Tuesday through Thursday from 1:00 to 9:00. Please stop by to say Hello and offer your suggestions for fiction or nonfiction reading.
Teachers are invited to consult with the Young Adult Librarian with respect to the information or reading needs of their students.
Young Adult Volunteers are welcomed. Volunteers may keep shelves in order, assist in the Reference, Children's, Technical Services or Circulation Departments, or perform other tasks. Please CLICK HERE for a printable volunteer application form. Please return the form to the library in person or mail to the address given on the form.
