The Reference staff offers basic technology classes designed for ages 14 and up:

Introduction to Twitter

Wednesday, July 18, 7-8:30 p.m.

Library Conference Room

Learn how to set up an account, find people and organizations to follow, keep up with the news, and create a following for yourself or your business! A basic knowledge of computers and online experience is required for this hands-on class. The library has a limited number of laptops available for class use.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop or device if possible.

Introduction to Microsoft Word

Thursday, July 26, 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Library Conference Room

Learn how to create, format, edit, and save a document in Word 2010 in this hands-on class. The library has a limited number of laptops available for class use.  Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop if possible.

Getting Started with Excel
