Introduction to Meditation

In the Library Meeting Room  

Certified Yoga Instructor and meditation practitioner Lina Shastri leads participants through an introductory meditation session on March 28. 

Each meditation session includes looking at the tendencies of the mind and how it affects our wellbeing, the powerful body - breath - mind connection and practice breathing techniques to quiet the mind. The session concludes with a guided meditation. 

No prior experience with meditation is required.

Drop in for one or both sessions; recommended for ages 14 and older.
