The Acton Memorial Library Foundation has purchased four Sony Wi-Fi ebook readers for checkout by library patrons. Patrons can use the Sony Readers to log-in to the Minuteman Digital Catalog using a Minuteman library card number and PIN, and browse for and checkout ebooks directly to the device. No computer and no software installation is required. Detailed step-by-step instructions are provided for those unfamiliar with ebook readers or touch screens. This is an opportunity to try out a touch-screen ebook reader and Minuteman's digital holdings, without having to invest in a device. To place a hold on a Sony Reader, click HERE, and then on "Request," or call the Reference Desk at 978-929-6543. The loan period for Sony Readers is two weeks. Holds are limited to Acton residents.
