Calvin Porter Thomas, a "Soldier", age 25, born in Maine, is recorded in the 1865 Massachusetts State Census as a resident of Acton, at residence with Henry Currier Thomas, age 55, and family, including James Sulivan Thomas,and Edwin Guilford Thomas (Lainhart, 1855 and 1865 Massachusetts State Censuses for Acton: 73).
