The enlistment of Charles Morse is recorded in the 1862-63 (p. 17, 18) and 1863-64 (p. 20) annual report for the Town of Acton.

The name "Charles Morse" is included on the Acton Memorial Library Soldiers' Tablet, "The Men of Acton Who Fought For The Union."
