Dennis Shehan [sic], age 32, a laborer, is recorded as an inhabitant of Acton in the 1860 federal census, in household (dwelling no. 54) with Betsey Shehan, age 24, and three children (John, Catherine, and Timothy)  (source:  1860 United States Federal Census. In: Ancestry.com [online database]).
