Simon Tuttle Conant was born December 15, 1837 in Acton, Mass. to Silas and Eliza Conant (Vital Records of Acton Massachusetts to the Year 1850, p. 30.)
According to documents in his pension file, Simon T. Conant married March 7, 1865 in Norwich, CT. He lived in Jersey City, NJ, Brooklyn, NY, and Leominster, Mass. after the war.
The name Simon T. Conant is included on the Acton Memorial Library Soldiers' Tablet, "The Men of Acton Who Fought For The Union."
