Who was born the
day of
A.D. 1847
in
Boston County of Suffolk
State of Massachusetts

As private in Company B. 11th Reg't Me. Infantry I first entered the service on Oct. 29th 1861 and was afterwards transferred to Co. H. 3rd Mass. Regt. H.A.

 

After forty-seven months of service, I was mustered out of Regiment on Sept. 18th 1865.

 

I served two years of my time as clerk at Gen. Angu*'s Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
