in
Lunenburg County of  Worcester State of Massachusetts

On August 21, 1862, I first entered the service, as private, in Sixth Regiment M. V. M. Infantry and at the close of the war my rank still remained the same.

As my time had expired, I was finally discharged on June 5, 1863, at Lowell, Mass.

I was confined for a time in the hospital of Sixth Regiment at Suffolk (1863).

Among my most intimate comrades were Isaiah Hutchins, Frank H. Whitcomb, George B. Parker, and Oscar Preston.

I Certify that the Sketch of my War service as above written is true as
I verily believe
