Acton library patrons have access to WorldVitalRecords, a genealogy resource subscription with U.S. and international coverage.  The library's subscription includes remote access for Acton residents.

Highlights include the U.S. Census 1790-1940;  the U.S. Social Security Death Index; and U.S. Public Records Index.  There are over 20,000 searchable databases and digitized books covering every genealogical record type, and from all over the world. Users can search, or browse all content by state, country, record type, or surname.

WorldVitalRecords joins the library's collection of other genealogical resources including AmericanAncestors, Ancestry Library Edition, Fold3 and NewspaperArchive.  Library users can access all of these services from the library's E-Resources page.
