In addition to Town Reports and historical Assessors' lists, other volumes digitized include the 1890 Acton in History by Rev. James Fletcher, several manuscripts related to Acton's Civil War veterans, and books related to the history of the Acton Memorial Library and the Davis Monument.

It is also worth noting that the Internet Archive (archive.org) recently added a full text search option to their home page. While it has long been possible to search within a particular book, the full text search option allows users to search the full content of all 9 million available text items -- and it is really fast!  To access this feature, go to archive.org, place your cursor in the search box, and then select the button next to "Search full text of books".

The library's local history books were digitized in 2014 as part of the Massachusetts Regional Digitization Project, funded by an LSTA Grant and administered by the Boston Public Library.
