For readers looking for books in their native language or people who want to practice reading a new language, Acton Memorial Library offers small collections of books in Chinese, French, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Portuguese, Gujarati, Hindi, and Tamil. To find non-English materials in the catalog, visit find.minlib.net, click on "Advanced Search," type a search term, or an asterisk ( * ) to search for everything, and select a language from the Language drop-down box. On the search results screen, click the "Request it" button to reserve an item owned by the Acton Memorial Library or to request a title be sent from another library.
Foreign language readers may also choose to brush up on their language skills by using one of the library's language learning programs: Mango Languages, or Pronunciator. Both are available through a web browser or a mobile app, and can be accessed through the library's E-Resources page.
