A TIP FOR FINDING "AVAILABLE-NOW" BOOKS
Downloadable eBooks have proven very popular. For many titles there are network-wide waiting lists. For this reason, the Acton Memorial Library has chosen to purchase extra copies of popular books that can be checked out only by Acton residents.
In order to access the Acton copies of these books you MUST LOG-IN FIRST with your library card number and PIN--only then will those copies be made available to you.
Follow these instructions to find copies that are available to check-out right now!:

Step 1: Go to http://digital.minlib.net and click "SIGN IN."

Step 2: Sign in with your Minuteman barcode and PIN. If you do not have a PIN or have forgotten what it is, call the Acton Memorial Library Reference Desk at 978-929-6543.

Step 3: Click on "Advanced search"

Step 4: Choose a format that is compatible with your device, and click the "Only show titles with copies available" box.

When you see a book you want, click the "add to cart" link next to the format (Kindle, ePUB, etc.) that is compatible with your device. If Acton has purchased an extra copy you will be able to bypass the Network-wide waiting list. |
