The Library Catalog and You

Tuesday, January 31, 2:00-3:15
Library Meeting Room

Registration is not required

The Minuteman Catalog is a wonderful tool for research and to keep track of what you've read or would like to read. This class will demonstrate how to:

  • Use "My Account" to place holds, see what you have on hold, update your information, and keep track of what you've checked out
  • Save items to a list for further consideration
  • Request multiple items at the same time
  • Freeze holds so that requests don't arrive while you're away
  • Rate items you've read, viewed or listened to
  • Do advanced searches for difficult topics

This is not a "hands on" class, but you are welcome to bring a laptop to follow the instructor. The class is led by AML Reference Librarian Shannon Bloom.
